Beginning with a core of 18 musicians in 1998, Band of the Hills has grown in size to over 100 members representing diverse backgrounds in our community – teachers, blue and white collar workers, executives, students, retirees, and business owners. The common bond among the players is a shared love for making great music.
While Austin has the title “Live Music Capital of the World”, Band of the Hills brings the joy of live music to Cedar Park and the surrounding area. We perform traditional varieties of music from marches to classical, show tunes to big band, and patriotic to seasonal favorites along with other types of music. The band entertains crowds at a variety of venues, including holiday celebrations, festivals, and formal concerts.
Band of the Hills is a member of the Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce, Leander Chamber of Commerce and a member of the National Association of Concert Bands.
